Shwedagon

It is like a golden hillock and highly venerated as the most sacred Buddhist monument in Myanmar for our Buddhists while it is greatly admired for its architectural perfection of Myanma stupa. It is infact, itself a museum of Myanmar traditional and crafts as well as center of Myanmar culture and Buddhist society.

National Museum

Having a vast amount of collections from the primitive period to the last Myanmar monarch, than highly regarded as the best center for Myanmar arts and handicrafts, cultural legacies, archaeological exploration and excavation finds, royal regalias of bygone period and different ethnic groups. Kandawgyi Royal Lake

Karaweik

Sule Pagoda

Nanthida Jetty

Once the important international jetty plying to Liverpool, Glasgow and so on during the colonial period, it is still live every day. Then, a series of grand colonial building including the oldest Strand Hotel building, is favorite spot of international travelers and photographers.

Botataung Pagoda

It is one of the important pilgrim sites for Buddhist people. But, some votive tables bearing Ancient India scripts usually allure historians and scholars then dating one of the earliest settlement sites.

Mahapassana Cave
